Swaptree.com

I'm a consumer, of course, but I do make SOMEWHAT of an attempt to consume less by reusing and trading with others. Keiko turned me onto swaptree.com, a sight to trade various media like books, dvds, music cds and video games. It seems pretty cool bc you list what you're willing to trade and then you find someone in the network who has what you want and wants what you have. It's free except for the $2.99 shipping fee, which I think is a steal considering it's cheaper than buying a book in a store or online (and paying for shipping regardless), and more convenient for me than going to the library.

Mention my reference, hollidayerin@gmail.com, and I'll get a free shipping pass. OR, see what I've got to trade and I'll loan you my books for free, OR see what is on my wishlist and we'll make a swap-a-rooski.

P.S. Still want to read As I Lay Dying by Faulkner, so if you have it, let me know.

  1. I will definitely check out this site. I will look through my books for As I Lay Dying and let you know if I find it.
