Wow. That's a big picture. Okay, we have chosen our book for August, The Turtle Catcher by Nicole Helget. Gilbert Public Libraries have it available in some of their branches and they have it available on amazon.com, and I haven't checked out any other resources beyond that.
Sounds good. I will look for it at Barnes and Noble, since that is my second home. Then I will let everyone know the price and what not.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited, by the way that this book is set in Germany, and the character's name is Liesel. I think I'm going to use my "Schprockets" voice in my head for him/her.

ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I'm excited to read this book. I read her first book, a memoir, and actually met the person that published it. It is by far my favorite memoir, which says a lot since I, like my sis, devour memoirs.
